My first cuddle bear

This is my first cuddle bear. Her name is Jaja. She was my favorite cuddle bear and I was very attached to her. Normaly it was a bear but I tore her ears off. You can't see it but I totally ruined her.  That's why my mum wanted to buy a new one but she couldn't find any at the store. So she decided to repair my cuddle bear that was totally ruined with parts of another bear. After the repair I'm still fond of her and untill now she stayed in my bed where she can retire and get very old. This picture shows you the repair of my cuddle bear.

Today my boyfriend and I cooked together. We made caneloni & tiramisu. It was a lot of fun and it was delicious. One of these days I will blog the recipe. Now I'm going to the cinema. We are going to watch Sherlock Holmes. And tomorrow my family and I will go to Brussels. Have a nice evening!

A lot of shoes

Monday I went to the Ikea and I bought a shoe rack. Actually it is a little wardrobe but I have so many shoes that I had to buy it. But the problem is this wardrobe is also to small for all my shoes. So I had to put a couple of shoes in my closet. I like my shoe wardrobe because there is a mirror that you didn't expected to find in it and there is place for my make-up & jewelry. Today I made a picture of my first cuddle bear, I will show you that tomorrow. See you then!

Chocolate cake

Wednesday it was my friend's birthday. I made her a chocolate cake. It was so delicious. Definitely recommended! I will give you the recipe so you can make it yourself.

What do you need?

Dough:

• 300g dark chocolate
• 6 eggs
• A pinch of salt
• 200g caster sugar
• 150g butter
• 150g flower
• 1 sachet baking powder

Glaze:

• 200g chocolate
• 150g cream

How do you make it?

Dough:

1. Preheat your oven on 180 degrees.

2. Break the chocolate into pieces and melt them au bain-marie (= A pot with water on the stove with another pot on top of it where you put the choclate pieces in ).

3. Split the eggs and mix the sugar and the egg yolks (= The yellow stuff of the egg).

4. Add the butter, flower, chocolate and baking powder.

5. Stir the egg-whites with a pinch of salt.

5. Add this to the dough.

6. Butter your bakeform and put the dough into the it.

7. Put it in the oven for 40 minutes.

8. Allow to cool.

Glaze:

1. Melt the chocolat au bain-marie.

2. Add the cream and stir.

3. Pour the mixture over the cake.

4. Allow to dry.

5. Eventually you can decorate the cake with powdered sugar. I wrote in dutch: Dorien 17 wordt nooit 18, Dorien 17 will never be 18 in english. Because the end of the world would-be on the 21 of December and she'll never turn 18. I wrote it on a piece of paper and cut out the letters. Than I put the paper on the cake and put the powdered sugar over the letters. This is the result.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I hope you had a nice time this weekend. I celebrated it with my family and my sweet boyfriend. I gave me tickets for the Efteling. So sweet, because I was constantly complaining that I wanted to go there with him. 

I have to go now, because my parents are complaining that I should hurry up. 

I'm going to the Ikea, I hope I'll find a shoe rack. I have so many shoes, I have absolutely no place to keep them. Have a nice second Christmasday!

Hi, it has been a long time ago since I've posted something. I'm sorry therefore. But I was busy studying for my exams until Monday. After the exams I went shopping with my friend for Christmas presents & I have bought my new shoes. I'll show you the shoes next week because there's a very busy week ahead of me, preparing things for Christmas.
The first 3 pictures are made during my exam period. The last picture was made yesterday. A friend of mine told me to take that picture, when she and another friend visited me. She probably thought it would make a beautiful picture. I like the result, it's a little dark but I think it's a beautiful. What do you think?

Hey, I promised you guys I would show you my new cardigan, so here it is! I will show you my new T-shirt when I will wear it for the first time. This cardigan is special because it looks very thin but it's actually really thick & warm.

Hey, how is your weekend? Mine is quite tiring, I have to work at a bakery. That means that I can't sleep very long. But Monday I have a free day so I'm happy that I can have my rest. Today I went with my parents to Genk. I have bought a cardigan & a special T-shirt. One of these days I will show them. It's all about ocher

Yes I know it has been a while ago that I blogged about my oufit but I promise that I will blog more about it in the future. This is an outfit I wore in the beginning of this week. The ocher cardigan & the ocher scarf are new. Yes they are both ocher, but I love this colour now. I think it's a beautiful colour for in the autumn & winter. I like the 6th photo the most because the flash is reflecting on my scarf like the sun on a diamond. The people who this isn't clear for, it's a close up of my scarf and my earring. I hope that you like my oufit. Oh and I almost forgot, today I had a gymtest & I had to do a wheel. Normaly I can't do that but today I could. I 'm so happy I can finally do it.
